• It is best to not use passwords that are based on personal information that can be easily accessed or guessed• It is recommended to not use words that can be found in any dictionary of any language • Develop a clue for remembering complex passwords rather than writing them down• Consider using passphrases
PassphrasesLonger passwords, or passphrases, are more secure than shorter ones. Passphrases also allow you to use a memorable phrase. Avoid names, common phrases, famous quotations, and song lyrics.
